Data validation
Validating and verifying all data, sightings and records are paramount to ARC offering high quality information. Set repeatable protocols are assigned to a small volunteer team within ARC to ensure all records are valid. The verification of ARCs records is constantly checked by regional and national experts, covering all of ARCs ecological, geological and historical information.
Please note that whilst ARC strives to ensure all its data, records and sightings are correct, original information could possibly be incorrect and have filtered through un-noticed. This can happen as species distributions change over time and artefacts can be reclassified. ARC will always attempt to overcome all possible in-corrections overtime.
