There is more to environmental recording, than just collecting and compiling lists. The information collected can be extremely valuable, offering the opportunity to contribute something really positive towards the conservation of Alderney's natural heritage.

Who can use the information stored within the ARC?

• Local and visiting naturalists
• Land owners and managers when drafting management plans
• The States of Alderney
• Local and visiting students and researchers
• Environmental consultants for use in preparing Environmental Impact Assessments.
• The Alderney Wildlife Trust for monitoring species and habitats
• National conservation organisations

Information is available free of charge to private individuals and schools, however charges will be made to commercial companies and ecological consultants. To request more information on this please contact the ARC on info@alderneyrecordscentre.org.
